Before I do that, let me check on how you've been viewing them. It's
not obvious, but on each thumbnail you can either click on the
"full-sized image" link, or click on the thumbnail. Clicking on the
thumbnail gets you a resized image -- about 60K or so, I think -- while
clicking ont he "full-sized image" link gets you a very large, 4000dpi
scan. So, if you haven't tried clicking the thumbnails, it's worth trying!
