hey mr hamm i dont think me need a quiz on this tomorrow no one
understands it maybe we should just go over it alot tomorrow in class i
have read thoese pages but im still not getting it and i dont want to
start the year off with bad grades..
lauren, don't sweat the conversion thing. We will practice. Just try to know pp 34 and 35. It will fall into place. Write down all the examples we do in class. Your only homework is to review your notes and the first 2 sections of ch. 2. Later!

kayla: give it a try. Use p. 34 and 35. Ask me before school.. To ALL of you ...Please don't get behind! Please note in the calendar that the test day has been changed to Wednesday. You will get a study guide on Monday, we will go over it on Tuesday, and your test on Ch. 1 and 2 will be Wednesday. The interruptions during 1st and 2nd block have slowed our pace somewhat.

We will be covering significant figures in class. Please visit this
address: http://science.widener.edu/svb/tutorial/index.html
This is a tutorial from the University of California and is very
helpful. Click on significant figures to practice. You may also want
to return to this page to brush up on other math skills necessary for
chemistry. Give it a try!
Mr. Hamm
Hello Mr. Hamm, its me Brandon Rivera,I am in your 2nd block class 2

That's fine. I think you did the right thing. You'll get what you
need in general chem if you listen closely.

If you get this email, you are in the group. So glad to have you!
Don't forget to hold me to giving you five bonus points on your first
test, which will probably be Tuesday, August 23. As time goes on, the
site will expand and there will be lots of little tidbits of info and
fun for you. I'll be adding some links and some photos later today.
When I bring in the camera to class, smile! You'll be on the web.
Just one more note, Chapter 2 on the basic mathematics for chemistry
is extremely important to your success the rest of the year. Do it
well! God Bless and work hard. It pays off!
hey mr. hamm,
this is brittany stewart, i'm from your 1st block honors class. I
joined and can't wait to see this grow. I hope this is what you
meant.
See you later.
this is candace evans and i amin your fourth block. You said on the
paper to leave some kind of message. So i guess this is what you are
talking about because i am not really sure. I was trying to get in your
honors chemistry class but i could not take honors algebra w/ trig and
honors chemistry because it is offered the same block. So i was
satisfied with general because i cant wait until next semster to take
because i want to take physics and i cant push algebra to next semster
because i want to take precal. well i just thought i would get that off
my mind.
have a great day,
candace evans
