A group dedicated to realistic, though not real, 3D images. Starships, orbital towers, space stations, even guns and tanks -- anything is grist for the mill as long as it's realistic. Saucer-hulls on non-atmospheric ships is not; spin sections for pseudo-gravity is. As little handwaving as possible is the rule here.

Post any images you've come up with. Better yet, post URL's. Original images are encouraged; copyright infringement is not allowed. If you see a really cool site and it isn't yours, just post the URL.

As some folks have pointed out, the definition of hrd SF is very hard to pin down. We can let this evolve with time, but to be really clear from the start, that means, among other things: no Star Drek or Star Warts. If it becomes necessary, list moderator determines what's acceptable and what's not.
