I vote for Koolau or Oahu CC at this point. Appears to be less hastle, i.e one price gets all the required services as a package. FCC may have parking problems - Note requirements for SD Police.

Subject: RE: [hces] 2006 Engineers Week Banquet LocationWestley,Okay, now you have probably at least three available options. I guess all that you need to work out now is selecting the best, the most suitable, and the most affordable.Hopefully, everyone now should realize that problems of this kind are actually easy to solve if we all put our heads and efforts together.Juny-----Original Message-----

Subject: RE: [hces] 2006 Engineers Week Banquet LocationI contacted the Filipino Community Center and they are available. Juny: Can you provide input on the suitability of this venue and if they meet our budgetary constraints?I also contacted the Oahu Country Club. The dining room is available and can hold up to 275. The room, however, is L-shaped but workable. Cost per person is $33.69 (includes service charge and tax). We need to find a sponsor but I don't think that will be a problem. They have a piano but we need to bring our own extension cords. Incidental costs (screen, mic, stage, etc.) total $55 so we may be able to keep our cost below $35 per person.Looks like we now have two, maybe three, viable options to choose from. Your comments are appreciated.
