I have the LHD-02 HD player, and have the same Chip, just buyed today ;)
I format the drive in my laptop (SEAGATE hdd 120Gb) whit maxblast (last):
First Partition 32Gb FAT32
Second Partition: xxGb NTSF
The player read files copied (AVI, MP3, JPG), no problem whit that...
Maybe is the HDD (more than 120GB, or fisrt partition more than 32Gb)
If you want to upgrade bios please post the RESULTS here...

and as per the instructions, I created a 30GB fat32 partition and rest I kept
NTFS. I copied the media files (movies and mp3) in the fat32 partition, but when
I connect to the TV it just shows me No Media.
