Stanford Pascal and Stonybrook Pascal and XPL now available   Message List

Hi, All:

I have uploaded two zip files to the Hercules-390 files area:

PASDST.ZIP contains the Stanford Pascal Distribution, and
XPL.ZIP contains the Stonybrook Pascal and XPL compilers.

Each zip file contains a "readme.txt" file, to help you to
get started, and another ".txt" file containing the original
instructions from FILE01 of the tape, converted to ASCII.

I downloaded each file from the tapes with "no conversion",
and then zipped each file with names FILE01, FILE02, etc.,
so these are all EBCDIC or binary files.

The rest is up to you. Good luck, and please let me know
if you run into any problems in using the files in this
format. And, if anyone wants to suggest an alternative
format for data retrieved from old 9-track tapes, please
let me know.

Sincerely,

Mark S. Waterbury
