CTCI-W32 version 3.1.2 has been released.
This is a fairly MINOR update folks, so if the issues listed below
don't affect you there's no need to upgrade; v3.1.0 should work fine.
If you use Microsoft's Loopback Adapter or run Linux/390 however,
then you WILL need to upgrade to this version.
NOTE TOO that if you're trying to run Linux/390 you might consider
also upgrading to the latest Hercules snapshot version too as it
contains some minor fixes related to tuntap as well[1] (but doing so
is entirely optional as the current release version of Herc *should*
(AFAIK) work just fine).
Changes in this version:
* Microsoft Loopback Adapter fix (don't fail adapter
open if QueryOID for OID_GEN_MEDIA_CONNECT_STATUS fails)
* Accept without error, for TAP interfaces only, write
requests that are exactly 4 bytes over the limit (to
allow for TAP callers such as CentOS Linux/390 providing
a CRC/FCS along with their packet)
* Detect / Warn about some additional common errors (e.g.
WinPCap not being installed, not having any usable adapters
at all, etc)
