Just a quick note to let everyone know the crisis is now over so it's
no longer necessary for you to feel (as) guilty if you haven't made a
donation yet. :)

I'd ask you all to stop donating too (since we now have MORE than
enough to keep us going for another couple months), but to be honest
I'd rather not.

Not that I'm greedy or anything! No! Only because that damn eviction
notice scared me so much when we received it that I'd honestly feel
more comfortable (less nervous) about having a bit of extra "cushion"
to keep me going for another several months "just in case." (and
given my current financial position that isn't a bad idea)

As soon as I'm done answering the many heart-felt (and much
appreciated!) emails I've received over the past two days, I'll try
to take the time to answer some of the non-Fish-needs-money related
requests for Hercules help that I've been purposely ignoring for the
past week or more. (Promise!)

I'm STILL not done tinkering with these new programs yet though.
Seems the new development environment I installed (upgrade really) in
order to do 64-bit development with VS 2005 is causing fits with my
existing VC++ 6.0 32-bit development. I made need to move my current
VC++ 6.0 32-bit development to a VMware virtual machine instead.
(64-bit development works just fine for Herc of course, as it does
for all my own products too, but only if I use VS 2005 of course.
VC++ 6.0 however (which is what I'm still trying to use since the
transition to VS 2005 isn't complete yet) doesn't seem to like my
current setup though, which is, more than anything, what's currently
slowing me down)

Well, I better not ramble any more than I already have so I guess I
better post this and get started on answering those emails and
getting back to trying to knock out these new versions, but before I
go I just want to say again...

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

to each and every person who sent me money. You guys are the
greatest. :`)

Thanks again.

We now return you to our regularly scheduled broadcast (i.e. HERCULES
ISSUES!) [1]

:)

(Bye!)

[1] And not "Fish needs money" issues which always seem to monopolize
the board for a while of those occasions whenever I do have to
[unfortunately] whine for money (thereby sometimes burying
HERCULES-related issue). For that I am truly sorry, but I hope to
make it up to you by trying to answer some of those emails from
people asking for help and by [eventually[2]] releasing some
(slightly) updated/fixed versions of my products. Thanks for
understanding.

[2] "Real Soon(tm)" now.

(hopefully)

;-)
