Quick msg to let you all know we FINALLY got our power turned back on
late yesterday.[1] Will take me a while to read through all the
message but I'll get around to it eventually. Don't expect and
responses for a while though. It's going to take us a while to fully

[1] In case you hadn't heard, we has a big windstorm (60mph w/gusts
to 70) blow through the Seattle, WA area last week (with Bellevue,
where I live, being the hardest hit). Over 1,800,000 people lost
power (us being one of them (Fri. at 2:00am)) and many STILL do not
have power yet. Many deaths. Got so cold in our apt. you could see
your breath. Good to have lights and heat again. More later once we
fully recover from survival-mode.

p.s. SEND MONEY! Lost everything in fridge/freezer, $250 overdrawn,
Laura gets the week off for xmas but WITHOUT PAY! (believe it or not)
