When the <whatever> are being used as an excuse to
not give YOU justice, then use the above slogan.

Obviously we still care about whales or whatever
the socialist cause-of-the-day is (they always choose
an expensive/unresolvable problem), but it shouldn't
be at the expense of truly atrocious problems like
Iraqi women being raped by their own government.

And nor should the fact that these dictators are
armed with sophisticated western weaponry mean
that these poor people should lose their rights
because they are nominally unable to revolt against
them as they could do in ancient times before
western science made weapons so ridiculously
powerful.
