To those interested in having Heyu process RF input from a W800RF32
receiver connected to a additional serial port:
I have the basic functionality working for:
1. Transceiving standard X10 RF signals on specified housecodes.
2. Transmitting X10 security and X10 "entertainment" RF signals to
the Heyu Engine as virtual data ("vdata") functions, where they
can be used to launch scripts.
The "entertainment" signals are those transmitted by X10 universal
remotes like the UR81A which are intended to communicate with the
PC via an RS232 serial receiver like the MR26A. (The X10 CM17A
Firecracker can also send these signals.)
I have module models defined for the following X-10 (USA)
transmitters:
DS10A Security Door/Window sensor
MS10A Security Motion sensor
SH624 Security Remote
KR10A Security Keychain Remote.
UR81A Universal Remote
I'll need to get the RF code data for non-USA model transmitters from
users in order to define module models for them. In the absence of
W800RF32 support in Heyu, these codes can be obtained with the script
w800rf32a.sh listed in man page x10cm17a(5).
I've been told that newer versions of the W800RF32 receive RF codes
from the X-10 Lola and Pan/Tilt remotes. However mine doesn't, so
functionality for those transmitters will have to wait.
I envision a release of Heyu with this new functionality, at least
in a crude state, within the next few weeks.

Charles Sullivan
