WELCOME!

Historia Coelestis means (among other things) "The Story of the Heavens" in Latin.

Historia Coelestis is a discussion group and community resource for all those interested in the history of astronomy at all levels.

This group welcomes relevant contributions, questions, news and announcements including conferences and new publications, at all levels - so please do take part and contribute to the life of the group. We all have something interesting to say, and ideas to share!

Membership is open to anyone interested in our subject. This is a friendly and informal group - however, please note that anti-social behaviour and spamming will result in banning.
