It's an option in most planetarium programs...

Yes, and no mater which I use I still have the screen refreshing
itself about ever 10 seconds!!!

Again, the refresh setting (which isn't working right) is here:
"File > Settings > Screen Update"

Under "File > Settings > Screen Update" one would think that changing the time would change the rate of screen refresh. Hmmm... Even when I set it at 54 Mins,...

I do not even know why there would be such a refresh time... There is either "follow system time" or "Set date and Time" Those are the only two I ever use.. ...
