Hi guys, it's been a long time since I last looked in you all. Hope
all is well for one and all.

I am running my Toshiba Satellite A110 laptop with Ubuntu 8.04 with
most of the KDE 4.1 package activated (some trouble with the blank
screen bug, though, so my Desktop still runs under Gnome). I installed
HnSky as per the instructions provided.

HnSky seems to launch OK, but the cursor just sits in the middle of
the screen intermittently blinking (very quickly) and is essentially
locked up. I can access nothing and must do a master reset (read shut
the damned laptop off) to return to status quo ante.

Can anyone offer any hints as to how I can correct whatever
installation error I made?
