Updating...how to ???   Message List

Hello...or do I say Hallo??
Earlier I downloaded a version of HNSKY 2.3.0L4 and didn't do much with it...I
then got a Gemini G11 mount and was having great difficulty driving the mount
with Starry Night that I jumped over to the HNSKY version I had installed and
all worked just fine...thank you!
I have now dumped my Starry Night software as it used too many computer
resources and I'm quite happy with HNSKY..
Now, my question is what is the easiest and pain free way to update the
installed version that I have. I see there is an "updated" EXE file on the
website and it is compressed...do I download this ? where do I install it? do I
put it in the existing HNSKY file ? I would like to update with all the
preferences and data that I currently have.
Great to have this program...my Gemini G11 works very well with it...Goodbye
Starry Night :)
Thanks
Carpe Noctem

... One has to be careful only to replace the existing hnsky.exe file and not the other two files included in the update, IF the existing files are much larger...
