yep... kinda annoying... a trick i use it to have two browsers open.
one is my "message" window, the other is the "header" window.
I click (and hold) on a header and drag it to my message window (then
release). it seems to take less time.

well.. Call them up and give them the catalog number (from the
archives) They've always been great folks (if a bit pricy) to work
with in my experience.

will give you some competitive prices... also lots of tips for
culturing them.

well, yes and no. you will get much better diversity from an
established tank. you'll get some algae with the open jar
method... but it'll be just some random airborn stuff. try to find a
place that sells "live sand" or "live rock" that's another good way to
get some diversity. You'll also get a proclivity for surface algae
unless you have some grazers. (snails, crabs)

congrats on the low carb! i was doing well on it... and should
probably go back on it.

or try your local deli. The large glass water cooler bottles are good
as well, though they have less surface area.

sure.. that'll work...
>What do you have in there? I mean, besides water and brine shrimp?
aquarium gravel, lava (landscaping) rocks, some random leaf and other
organic matter that has blown in.
I scrub down the sides at least once a year, if it needs it or not. ;)
