Typical duties:
• Install, upgrade & support Windows 2000, Citrix
Metaframe and Linux servers in
a 7x24 environment.
• Administer and upgrade Tivoli Storage Manager
• Administer and upgrade MS Exchange server
• Manage and administer Novell file and print services
• Review system logs for errors generated and correct
as necessary.
• Provide second level workstation support as
necessary
• Monitoring of network servers, printers, switches
and routers
• Perform other duties as determined by management

Qualifications / Experience:
• College degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years in Systems Administration & Network
Management
• Knowledge and understanding of Windows Server
Operating Systems
• Knowledge and understanding of MS Exchange or Lotus
Notes email
• Knowledge and understanding of Novell server
technology
• Well versed in common Internet technologies e.g.
email DNS, IIS, etc.
• Solid understanding of backup and disaster recovery
principals
• Knowledge and understanding of SUSE Linux Enterprise
Server
• Ability to write and comprehend technical documents
• Highly organized self-starter who is able to
organize and prioritize demanding
workload
• Follows quality principles to ensure ultimate
customer service
• Able to communicate and work with people at all
levels of the organization

Additional Qualifications Preferred:
• MCSE, A+, PHSE or CCNA qualifications
• Linux certification
• Knowledge of IBM middleware software
