Hi Sam,
Don’t know if they would work for you, but I use eApps.com.
The charge me $50 per month for a virtual jboss4 server w/mysql. Probably some other stuff, that I don’t use.
Only thing is I use it for J2EE development so I don’t have much traffic on it, so I am not sure if usage would push that up beyond the standard provided by the $50.
They have a very nice administration console. Pretty slick actually. And their staff has always been great.
The only problem I ever had was jboss3 had some issues with hot deployment of jar packages. Often I had to deploy exploded projects.
I only just went to jboss4 ($5 to install and it actually dropped my monthly from $55 to $50). I haven’t had time to see if the hot deployment remains an issue.

Subject: [java-meetup] java
hosting question
Hi All,
Anyone know of a good java hosting provider?
I've been paying $100 a month for 700 megs of
space at a java hosting
service for a while now. Feels like
there must be some better deals
out there ...
