THE REFORMATION OF AVIS-PIRUM

 

As most of you will be now be aware, the hottest news of the past week has been an announcement by the Consulate that the Avis-Pirum Network is to undergo a series of dramatic reforms. The Consulate has hailed this as the 'Messidorian Revolution' which started on 29 June with the suspension of the Constitution and the dissolution of the Network's legislative assembly, Concordia. It has been announced that the reforms will include a new, refined Constitution and the implementation of a new legislature to assist in the running of the Avis-Pirum Network. Moreover, the Consulate wish it to be known that they are on the look-out for potential Moderators to assist in the running of ALL the Avis-Pirum groups, so if any members are interested please contact either Danny (nefarious_bird@...) or Jordan (jmperry2008uk@...).

 

So far the Reformation has proven highly successful, awakening Avis-Pirum from over a year of indolence in which spammers polluted its groups' message boards and some of the Network's finest members left. At the moment, The Sceptred Isle is enjoying a torrent of messages on whether Richard III of England deserves his 'maligned reputation'. Horizon of the Aten's member count has risen considerably, so much so that it is now the 5th largest group in the Egyptology category. And Red Square is currently engaged in a discussion on whether World War II consolidated a sense of Soviet Nationalism in the USSR. Finally, in addition to the reforms currently taking place, the Consulate would like it to be known that they are seeking to hand editorship of this newsletter to the members of the Network as to allow for a third party to report on the weekly happenings of the Avis-Pirum Network.
