Re: Most people go with the status quo

Sorry, Michael Macarthy...The high priests of Amunism put a strong curse on both
Akhenaten and Nefertiti...and the changing times show Akhenaten to be an awfull
ruler even to this day he and Nefertiti truths are hardly known.

Akhenaten stated the only way to know god (Aten/Sun) is through
me...the masses didn't understand the break away religion from
Amunism so he was teaching them slowly...He did away with all gods
but the Sun/Aten...Akhenaten was the first known 'humanist'...very seeing of the
need of the masses. He closed down the amunist temples because they were mostly
after gold and power

historical side is the side that won...so they wrote the story of
Akhenaten the way they wanted history understood. Most people go with

the status quo.

But here is another point of view...

Akhenaten gave the arts total freedom

Made Nefertiti a Pharaoh...the Amun priesthood hated him for that act

On the murals it depicts Akhenaten/Nefertiti in a loving scene with
his children on his/and her lap

Akhenaten didn't go to war; the Amun priesthood hated him for that
non-action...anti war

Akhenaten kicked the Amun priesthood out of the temples because they
were the money changers 'Gold Merchants' of the day

Akhenaten stated the only way to know god (Aten/Sun) is through

Akhenaten was the 'carpenter' (builder of the city called Akhetaten).
The new city could possibly have been Eden...half way between Memphis
and Karnak on the Nile River

In my honest opinion Ahkenaten is the real 'demiurge'...for having
failed in his dream to create amore realistic understanding of the
real world...rather than having a religion full of superstitions with
gods running things.
