Description

This is a discussion group for users of Hot Potatoes, a suite of Web authoring tools by Half-Baked Software Inc. and the University of Victoria Humanities Computing and Media Centre.

When posting a question about a Hot Potatoes exercise, please make sure you put the exercise on the Web and include the URL in the message. We can't help with a problem unless we can see the problem. Also, don't forget to tell us what operating system and browser version you are using.

Please don't post questions about the Moodle HotPot module; those are Moodle problems, so you need to write on the Hotpot module forum http://moodle.org/mod/forum/view.php?id=1599, one of the Moodle support forums.

Finally, it's always a good idea to validate your exercise page before reporting a problem, in case you've caused the problem yourself by inserting incorrect HTML code. You can use the W3C validator here:

Re: change penalty point
Yes, you would have to change this in the JavaScript. Look for the various functions that calculate scores (they may have "Calculate" in their function name).
