Welcome to the Houston Chapter of HFES.

We are a growing group of academic and industry professionals practicing in and around Houston, Texas.

Our goals are to promote the growth and understanding of human factors and ergonomics in the local community, which includes the general public, local businesses, and other professional organizations in the greater Houston region, and to provide a setting for human factors/ergonomics professionals to share information and network with others in the field.

Practitioners, students, and academicians with interests in human factors, ergonomics, or related areas are encouraged to join the chapter and participate in its activities.

As our flagship event, we host a one-day conference in the spring of each year. The conferences are designed to provide time for people to share ideas in a variety of formats and to socialize with other ergonomic and human factors professionals.
