Hello,
The University of Houston-Clear Lake has developed a Human Factors/Engineering certificate. A full description of the HF/E certificate at UHCL is attached to this email (with a list of the required courses). This certificate is designed to give students knowledge regarding HF/E and user-centered design. This knowledge is important for those who need to know more about HF/E and, in particular, for those who implement, manage, and test requirements designed by HF/E professionals.
Registration is open for Fall 2007 at UHCL, so now is a good time to consider joining us in this exciting endeavor! For the Fall semester, we are offering the following courses:
Human Factors Engineering Methods and Analysis, Monday from 7-10
User Center Design, Tuesdays from 7-10
If you have any questions, please e-mail myself (Dr. Camille Peres, peressc@...) or my colleague (Dr. Magdy Akladios, akladios@...). Feel free to distribute this to anyone you think might be interested in learning more about Human Factors and Ergonomics. I've attached it as both a Word and a pdf file.
Sincerely,
Camille Peres
