Hi All

Amongst various items retrieved from storage recently I found a spare
circuit board for the 82937A HPIB interface from the HP85 series of
computers.

It's just the board, no case or cable, and I remember buying it as a
supposedly new spare when using an HP83 on a research project in the
early 80s.
With it are photocopies of the instruction manual for the 82937A and the
assembly level service manual for the HP85, both a bit faded now but usable.

This board was never needed and, a bit embarrassing to admit here:-), I
eventually traded in the HP83 for an Osborne 1.

Does anybody know if there's any demand for HP85 series parts these days?

regards

Nigel

The tape unit on the HP 85 you buy will probably be damaged, and it is not a fun thing to fix. Avoid the the HP 85, and instead choose an HP 86B or HP 87XM and...
