Hey,
I'd like to suggest that each of you help us succeed and try three
things:
1) Post/reply a sort-of RSVP like "I'm going to make it for sure"
or "I'm conflicted but going to try" or "I'm not available, covered
up" or "I'm not in the area so no way can I make it". (please! it is
essential for knowing we have the support of community.

2) Can you please post along with that, approximately, within say 20
miles, how close you work (or live) to the meeting place in
Hattiesburg? Since this is essentially a virtual UG, and that's ok
but, it would just help to know if it would be a good idea to suggest
a Live Meeting (INETA's idea, and I agree, and members where I live
are clamoring for it, and it's free and easy)... PS - that includes
you lurkers who typically would hit-D by now. Do this one atleast,
and perhps even state if you aren't available if a live meeting, or
saved live meeting would be of interest.

3) Bring a Buddy. Ask at least one techie to come, and ask him to ask
another (that's a 3 for 1 deal, YEA!^). If they do enjoy it, ask them
to join this Yahoo Group. It will make a big difference with
potential sponsors.

I'm very proud of Keith and your efforts to raise your beautiful
state out from what so many non-Mississippians reflect... Currently
this is one of the last states in the US to have an INETA UG. I've
tried to help for ney'on 4 years to help various peeps getr done.
Butn nothing has worked yet. However, I feel this will if you all
help. Like I say, spread the word! Make Mississippi stand out as not
only a great place to live, but a technical mecca too.

Trust me, there is such a high demand for VS.NET devs now, that if a
company feels there are devs there, they will open the doors.

I think there are plenty of VS.NET'ers there... lets getm to come
outa the wood-work and into this (yahoo) virtual group!!!
