Here's a post from a New member of the Huna Ohana
group ...
I would just like to say that it has been my
experience that its best to focus in on your personal
growth...the integration of the three selves. I have
seen many people get upset along the path when they
loose focus on the aspects of personal growth and look
outside at the seemingly unfair situations in the
world. The question "why" can be useful but it can
also be negative and weakening.... How do we want
to live? Do we want to chose to be slaves to our
emotions...responding to this and that? We have to
realize that these emotions and situations come and
go..they are not permanent and not who we truly
are...our essence or our soul is deeper. A better
choice is to create and discover new opportunities and
experiences.
This is the reason I am becoming attracted to Huna.
It is positivity in action and it is verifiably
effective.
Often our greatest lessons are from what doesn't work.
That doesn't mean that we have to install in ourselves
negative emotions. I've spent many many hours of
practice to cleanse my body/mind of these
negative thoughts that I have been responsible for
accepting and installing over many years. Do you want
to define yourself by your negative emotions? Is that
you? Of course its relative/contextual and its not
what we want...but like an alcoholic, we can't get
enough of what we don't want. We can align our lower
self with our higher self.
We can do it.
There are whole courses, expensive ones, that will
help people in this regard...and I certainly have not
tried one tenth of one percent of them. Some of the
cheaper ways of going about it is EFT...but this,
like most techniques, needs to be used in conjunction
with other regular classes and etc. Connecting the
meridians and then sweeping and opening them help. I
like to go to yoga classes and tap, sweep and stretch
my meridians. I do an hour of hip rolls a day. I do
bowing. I do other energy work to increase my vitality
and have learned some incredible breathing techniques.
I do meditation and chanting. Even though I do a lot
and spend a few hours a day (three on
average...sometimes more) on practice, I got
tremendous change with only a little bit of effort
when I first started. The point is for the new people
or casual readers of all of this is that positive life
enhancing change is possible and all you have to do is
turn off the TV and get off the butt and do something
for your self(s). Fifteen minutes a day of actually
doing something will create results....
HUNA is the REAL DEAL...have no doubt about it...
Go Get!...
Love,
Jim Strack
