Re: [HCC] Upload old HyperCard stacks to the web!

Yes, long live HC; I still code every day. And tilestack is the most
exciting thing to come along in years.

But I finally started playing with Revolution, which I am sure everyone
knows about. After a lot of whining about the differences, I have to admit
it is the way to go. Even the Revolution mail list is exactly like the HC
list from the old days, and everyone who is (or was) anyone is already
there.

At least the programming paradigm that HC fathered is alive and well. The
Rev users all know it and revere it, and that is something...

Subject: [HCC] Upload old HyperCard stacks to the web!

Hello old HyperCard friends! I just came across a website that all fans of
HyperCard will be very interesting in learning about:

http://www.TileStack.com/

The developers of this site have created a tool to upload old HC stacks to
the Internet and also develop new stacks with their web-based editor! For
more specific information visit: http://tilestack.com/faq/

I'll admit that I've used HyperCard less and less as time has moved forward
and Apple stopped further development of this fine product, but this new
development has seems to be just what developers like me need to continue
work in the HyperCard developing environment. Yea! Long Live HyperCard in
Web 2.0!

If you are as excited about this news as I am, please post on this forum and
use this community as a resource for development (everything from creating a
new stack to coding in HyperTalk, aka "Speak," to integrating your stack
into your website).

Take care & have fun!
