Is it possible to highlite a segment of an iMovie (version 5 HD) and export it, or does one have to delete all other unwanted segments first? George...
George, As long as you have broken the movie into separate clips. Then select the clips (Shift - Click) you wish to export. From the File menu choose Export....
I am not exactly sure on version 5, but in iMovie 4, you can select idnividual clips and exports those, but you can not directly select a section of movie...
OH, now I see what is happening. He did not want to use the Cmd T to delineate portions to export, though doing so could be reversed later, it is not necessary...
Correct. The original poster asked how to export a "[highlighted] segment" which I assumed meant anywhere within a clip or even overlapping more than one clip....
