I just thought of another place to check. Go to District Office > Schools/School Info > scroll down towards the bottom 2/3 of screen to Unexcused Profile Setup. Current yearid should be 18. Attendance Mode for Unexcused Absent should be set to  the way you keep attendance (Meeting:period-to-day or Daily:code-to-day. And if you choose Daily, there's a 2nd box to choose from, Day Indicator.

You'd need to repeat for each school.

We have been on the horn with PowerSchool and all we have is, we will escalate you. Now 6/19 has come and gone. We are on the correct PS version, the correct State Extract Version, have ran the Update Unexcused absences process, and nothing.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Other things to check under school setup > Attendance Code Categories ... that you have a category for unexcused Then look at your attendance codes. Only those...
