their peers about what it really takes to put together a well-designed
SOA, and desire third-party credentials to assert their SOA knowledge.
The Licensed ZapThink Analyst boot camps give Enterprise Architecture
practitioners the SOA education and credentials they've been waiting
for."
Courses, certification, and networking offered include:
In the four-day SOA training course, attendees will get hands-on
experience and expertise in how to implement the latest SOA best
practices and methods. Learn about Service modeling, Service domains,
SOA infrastructure planning, SOA testing, SOA Quality, Governance, and
Management, developing a SOA Roadmap, SOA ROI and Business Planning,
SOA Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and metrics, SOA security and
performance optimization, SOA policy management, Composite Services and
Business Process, Service-Oriented Business Applications (SOBA), and
Mashups. Hear about notable SOA security case studies and get hands-on
guidance in making SOA work. And, once you complete this course you
will become a credentialed Licensed ZapThink Architect.
The ZapThink LZA SOA training and certification program offers the following benefits:
* An annual credential that allows ZapThink to endorse individual enterprise architects as having specific SOA skills

Do SOA Governance Right: Get SOA Governance Training and Certification!
Are you struggling with making SOA work and troubled by governance concerns?
Are you looking for SOA governance best practices for design-time, run-time, and change / version management?
Do you want hands-on experience with SOA governance methods, tools, and frameworks before you commit to a SOA endeavor?
Are you looking for a third-party credential to endorse your SOA governance knowledge?
If so, then register for the two-day SOA Governance training and certification workshop offered by ZapThink!
One of the biggest challenges facing the SOA marketplace is the lack of proper governance to make sure that SOA exists in a controlled environment, and not the potential chaos that can emerge from uncontrolled, dynamic consumption and composition. To address this challenge, ZapThink is accepting registrations for its Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Governance Training and Certification courses. The first two-day courses will be run at the University of Virginia's Northern Virginia campus near metropolitan Washington, DC starting on August 3, 2009. The courses will run again on September 28, 2009.
The SOA Governance Training and Certifications courses address a significant and urgent need from enterprise architects and IT practitioners to achieve SOA success by governing the design, operation, running, and versioning of their SOA implementations. In ZapThink's two-day workshop, attendees will learn in-depth, practical SOA governance methodologies, techniques, and approaches in ways that are not specific to the particular technology du-jour or an individual vendor implementation. The SOA Governance training and certification course is led by skilled instructors who not only have architectural and governance expertise, but also know-how in how to apply SOA governance technologies and frameworks into practice. For attendees that already have an LZA credential, this course adds a SOA Governance endorsement that will further add to their knowledge and capabilities. The SOA governance course fills the unmet need for both SOA governance training as well as certification.
August 3-4, 2009: Metropolitan Washington, DC area
September 28-29, 2009: Metropolitan Washington, DC area
Cost for attendance is just $995 at early discount rates and includes all training materials and certification costs. For more information and to register for the SOA Governance training and certification events, visit www.zapthink.com/eventreg.html.

I have cleared both 664 and 665 test and really appreciate the difficulty level of both the tests...
Recently, I have written the sample test for 667, which I found tougher then the 665...
What I feel here is that , 667 is an initiative to take your understanding one level up than the 665...w.r.t. the Designing based on SOA...moreover it might take us away from the IBM Support of tools i.e. WESB/WPS/WBM etc.....in terms of thinking (abstract).. ..
Hope this helps...
I am planning to write the same test in the month of Dec...appreciate your help in preparation. ..
My confusion to 667 is they have suggested reading Red Books instead of specific reading documents like 665.
Moreover, 665 reading material has lot of products which are out of date in IBM˘s current product list, so I assume 667 should omit them.

Hi,
Last week i have cleared my 664 exam with 83% ,
Now i am looking at exam 667 now (which will be replacing the 665 from december onwards)
After comparing old and new contents i feel 667 will still share 80% same base with 665.
Can anybody who has cleared the IBM exam 665 or preparing for 667 tell me how to start preparing for this exam & pin points areas to focus on.
Last time someone gave good points that helped me to clear 664.
Thanks in advance,
Varun Sharma
