The Institute of Climate, Energy and Environment (ICEE) is a non-stock, non-profit, non-government organization established in 1997. It is a climate change research and educational institution that aims to institutionalize the development of enabling response mechanisms to climate change impacts both at the national and local levels through the development of greenhouse gas mitigation strategies and climate change adaptation programs. Its strategies include: (1)Resource Generation and Management for climate change activities; (2) Research and training for a paradigm shift to environment-benign values through an integrated comprehensive environmental perspective in all levels of education; (3)Policy research, analysis and advocacy on climate change; and (4)Research and education activities to develop climate change mitigation and adaptation response mechanisms.
