The world is fast becoming a junkyard for e-wastes. We can help avoid
piling up of e-wastes with a proper use of used computers and the other
related accessories. The website
http://usedcomputers.consumerplanet.info helps buy used computers in
good working condition at very cheap prices. There are agencies that
give away used computers even for no cost.

This campaign is about Human beings, Democracy, UNHCR, Refugees, The Iraqis,
Islam, Kurds, Human rights, Respect, Money, Donations, Angelina Jolie,
Pavarotti, Giorgio Armani, Donors, Peace, History, Campaigns and about you if
you care about these words.
Hi there,
I am SAM, an Iraqi refugee living in Lebanon at the moment; I have spent the
last 10 years of my life as a refugee registered with the UNHCR in Beirut. The
last 4 years, I have spent as an activist for peace and human rights (especially
refugees and asylum seekers) on the Internet; I'm also books author and ebooks
publisher. I have launched many campaigns to improve our situation as refugees
in Lebanon and hopefully bring more understanding to our problems worldwide. I
helped make many changes and improvements at the UNHCR office in Beirut; I used
the Internet as the field for my activities (you can read more about that in my
free ebook 'MY CAMPAIGNS'). All my ebooks are free and could be download from my
sites.
This is my newest campaign, it's about the illegal and humiliating actions of
the UNHCR, who using photos of refugees as banners and human-buttons to collect
money. This is an abuse of the dignity and humanity of the refugees and must
stop immediately and a clear public apology present by The United Nations High
Commissioner for Refugees. My friends, I am talking about the pictures you can
see here: http://lebanon.1website.net/human-buttons.htm
Also you can read my new campaign 'Urgent, we need smile' here:
http://web.1asphost.com/lebanon2/smile.html
For more info about UNHCR and life of refugees you can read my free ebooks. I
invite you as fellow humans and members of the world community to support my
campaign by reading my article on my site and see the human-buttons. The
campaign is to support and improve the UNHCR http://www.unhcr.org especially
after the last scandals in the UN and UNHCR, just for example:
http://www.mizzima.com/archives/news-in-2005/news-in-april/12-April05-22.htm
"We make demonstration and fast because the UNHCR office in Cairo did nothing
for our problem..." http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/4440730.stm
Together we will build better world.
You could reach me fast via this form:

I know some friends already who have met a few nice honeys off of this kind of
stuff (here is the place they use: http://www.lookuplovehere.info/sjzx , but
what do you think? I think it is mad cool from what I saw at my friend’s
house, and am thinking of signing up later today. Basically it's a regular
personalssite, but with an instant message and Webcams system built in.
Basically you join their chat-room on their site it gives you a link to those
people online in the chat-room, their location, their picture, etc and at one
click you can start chatting to them over Webcam (even if you don't have one).
Pretty nifty stuff I think!
happy, happy, properous new year to you and your family!
may this year be more abundant and better than last year.
love,

in a world of pollution, profanity, adolescence, zits, broccoli, racism, ozone depletion, sexism, stupid guys, and PMS, why the hell do people still tell me to have a nice day?
I'm so sorry I'm not as visible or as active in our mailing list as I want to... I've been super busy with my new job in a German Foundation (Hanns Seidel Foundation). I just miss you guys a lot and as December is quickly approaching, I can't help but reminisce about the times that we were all together. Remember it was December that we were all in Thailand for the culminating activity of our respective internships? Awww... those were the times...
I wanna here stories from all of you. What's been going on with your lives?
You know, I've been feeling a little guilty because I feel like I've abandoned my advocacy since I'm not working with the Foundation for Media Alternatives anymore. I need to renew my perspective. I don't want to be apathetic about ICT issues. I still strongly believe that sustainable development for my country will be achieved through efficient use of technology and who else could better harness this tool than the youth. They are afterall the hope of the future (as quoted by our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal)... Its just that I don't know where to start or to pick-up where I left of..
Can you guys help me? If you know of an organization where I could volunteer or work (on part-time basis) because I have an 8 to 5 job... Or what about us (YFP fellows)? Can't we initiate a project? Please, do give me some insight. I need direction.
Well, that's about it. I promise to flood your mailboxes with my mails again. hahaha! I miss you guys! I'm still wishing that we all see each other again. reunion!
Lots of hugs and kisses,
Daryl

-----------------------------------------------------
Below are some common questions asked about Multiply:
Is this just like other "networking" sites I have heard
about?
Actually it's much different, and much better. While other
sites are strictly about meeting new people, Multiply is a
communication tool that makes it easier to stay in touch
with people you already know.
Can't I just use e-mail to communicate with people I know?
Multiply integrates tools, such as photo album sharing, with
messaging which makes it easier and more convenient to use
than e-mail. Plus, you can easily get in touch with your
contact's contacts. You'll no longer need to ask a question
starting with "Do you know someone that...."
Photo Album Sharing? I already use a photo site. Why
Multiply?
Photos are just one component of your home page. Multiply
provides a central place to share photos, journals or blogs,
a personal market to sell used stuff, a personal event
calendar and much more. All these tools are integrated with
messaging so your contacts are automatically notified when
you add something. Plus, they can post replies and discuss
things on the same page as the content.
This sounds interesting but a little confusing. Can I learn
more?
It's actually all surprisingly simple.
To read a little more about how the product works please

Wow! It’s so nice to read so
many letters from everyone. I am so sorry for taking sooooo long to write. I
just got back from Singapore,
and I was so tired. I got to sleep a little on the plane ride home from Bangkok, but my mom
dragged me to raid the duty free shops at the airport as soon as I arrived so
we got home quite late that night. After that, I had to unpack my bag and distribute
their presents then pack in new clothes because I had to catch an early morning
flight to Singapore.
I spent two sleepless nights there (the first night, I was so drunk, and the second
night, I was working on an article), and barely even got to go around the
country/city.
I just arrived Sunday afternoon and
I was busy preparing for a job interview on Monday. Well, that’s pretty
much the story of my life right now, a bit busy with the reports and setting up
the plans for life after GKP. I’ve actually talked to some of my friends
regarding the design firm I was telling you about and I’m working on getting
more connections with local media to be involved or give some support/media coverage
to some of the projects that we will come up with in the future. I’m also
looking for some people who can maybe do a feature about our workshop in Thailand
for more exposure on GKP-YFP.
Edna: My dear roommate!
I miss our talks already. Is the import project you and lizzie are talking
about the story you we sharing with us? I want in on it too! It really is
a sustainable project. Heeheehee. Anyways, the creative director of the theatre
company I worked with saw the brochure for FEMNET, the one you gave me, and
said the design was really cool. If you need help with designs for any of your
projects, I’d be glad to help out.
Grace: Wow! You got a few more
extra days for shopping in Bangkok.
If I had known you’d be there till Tuesday, I could have gone back and
visited you on my way back from Singapore.
I couldn’t buy anything in Singapore. Everything was soooooo
expensive, especially after comparing them to the prices in Bangkok. So where’d you hang out most
of the time? Hope you got to meet up with Sunit, Jeed, Dev, Pop and the others
while you were there.
Halim: So nice of you to
write all of us. No, we are not lazy, we are working. We’re busy just
like you =) Has your mom been cooking your favorite foods? I hope you’re
enjoying eating your French fries. How’s your back?
Lizzie: How’s the
report coming along? There’s so many things to write about. I’m
actually excited for the next batch of Interns. I hope they will also enjoy
their internship as much as we did.
Zadid: I’m sorry,
I haven’t been able to read about the fair that you mentioned. But I’ll
try to find out and contribute some stuff about it.
Daryl: Ey, how’s
work? You back in FMA now? I’ve actually been hanging out in Katipunan
lately, do a little soul searching at the alma mater. Maybe we can meet up or
something.
Leticia: It’s so good to
hear from you. I did receive your SMS but I was in Singapore that time and my network
connection was kind of faulty so I wasn’t able to send you my reply
successfully. I did try though, but it kept on failing. I don’t know why.
You have to email me the pictures of the salt desert and the mountain where you
were sitting in one corner after a bumpy ride. How did the pictures from Thailand turn
out? Could you share them with us? Maybe you could post those at the
yahoogroups website? By the way, any news if we will still be able to keep the
YFP Interns mailing list? If not, maybe we should seriously consider shifting
our correspondence to the yahoogroups mailing list as soon as possible.
Moses. Deborah, and Assabe: We
really missed you guys in Thailand.
Please share with us about your internship and your ideas about future GKP-YFP
Internships programs. Is there anything you would like to suggest to improve
the program for the next batch of GKP-YFP Interns? Hey, share your pictures
with us as well so we know what you look like and it will be just like you were
with us in Thailand.
Has John shared with you the activities we did? I hope it helps to give you
more perspective on your internship programs.
Tomal: How are you doing? I
have some questions about our Taking IT Global page, if we post files there and
stuff, it will be available to the public right? Because I was thinking maybe
we could also utilize some of the yahoogroups services (uploading files and
photos) to share some of the more private files but keep it within the group
only (like our crazy pictures and stuff). The ones that we do want to publicize,
we can post it at the Taking IT Global page.
Thai Rural Net: You guys
are the greatest! I’ve never had so much fun. Wish we could all meet up
again soon.
Sunit: Where can I
email you about some proposals that I have (not just for YSEI but some projects
for Thai Rural Net that you might be interested in)?
Jeed: Thank you for
being the most wonderful tour guide and big sister to all of us. The map of Bangkok that you gave us
was really useful. We did get lost a couple of times, but it was mostly because
we didn’t know how to read the map. That night of shopping proved to be
really crazy fun for us girls. Wish you could have been there with us.
Dev, how was your final exams. I
sent you an SMS to wish you good luck on your exams, but I don’t know if
you were able to receive it.
Pop: Wow!
You’re actually going to India!
Lucky guy! I hope you enjoy your internship there. Tell us all about it, and
share with us some pictures of you and a holy cow, okay? You’ll be
working with Rahul’s organization right? That is so cool! If I can raise
enough money, I’d like to visit each of you guys and learn about the projects
you’re doing or plan to do there.
Jack: Thank you
for being our official photographer and videographer. I’m really looking
forward to getting a copy of the pictures and video that you made. I’m
making a scrapbook of our stay in Thailand and they would be really
helpful. I’ll be sharing some of the pictures I took as well. I’ll
post it in the yahoogroups website.
Did I forget to message anyone? I’m
so sorry if I did…
Hey, what are your yahoo messenger
IDs? Mine is slysse so just add me
so I can add you to my messenger as well.
Are Sunit, Jeed, Dev, Pop, John, Rahul
and the others part of the mailing list now? Who isn’t part of the ict4bd
yahoo groups? Please let Zadid know so that he can add you there and so we
could share files and photos through yahoogroups.
