well ...<br>lets put it this way!<br>java may not
be the fastest out there but it is very clean ...
these days nobody cares if ur programm runs very fast
... these days people try to make their apps
scalable, so you can just throw more cpu power at it as it
grows.<br>u have to try really hard to write ugly code with
it ... java trys to keep u organized ... ;)<br>so
the maintanance cost is very low compare to systems
writen in othe languages ...<br>java is here for good
and it wont disappear 'cause sun is behind the whole
project and they have deep pockets ...<br>platform
indpendent ... hmmm ... good in theory, not so good in
reality ... but java is better then anything else i know
in that aspect ..<br>for ur 3rdq ... if u have a
small system and small fixed number of users ... what
ever gets the job done ...<br>for huge systems ... u
better off sticking with java ...
