Hi Lynn,
I have also experienced this problem. It
seems to occur whenever our comments print all the way to the bottom of the
page. I modified the report by formatting the section to “keep together”.
That way, if the comment is large, it goes to the next page before it begins to
print the comment. That has seemed to solve the problem.

Subject: [ieuga] Crystal report
error with Invoice
I am receiving the following error when trying to
print an invoice:
Error: 567 Error in File (server path)
Page header or footer longer than a page
Execute <PEStartPrintJob>
When trying to preview the invoice (arrip.rpt) in Crystal Reports I get the
following error on Page 5 of 6:
The page size was not large enough to format the contents of an object in the
report.
However, it does not appear that any information is missing that should have
printed between pages 4 & 6.
We have never received this error before and after doing some testing, I have
found that the error occurs anytime we select Lot ID along with Serial # and/or
Part Std Comments in the Questions tab:
Serial # x X X x X X x x
Lot ID x X X X X X X x
Part Std Comm x X X X x x X x
Cust Std Comm x X X x X x X x x
E=Error E E E E E E
There are no Part Std Comments so I don't know that those would be a problem.
Any thoughts?
We are using Expandable 8.1.1, Crystal Reports 8.5
Thanks,
Lynn
