I'm looking for a new printer to use with Expandable. It's primary purpose will
be to print checks (low volume: 10-20 per week).

I'm currently using a Brother HL-2040 - which has a major quirk. The checks
have to be shuffled in reverse order before placing them in the input tray.

Anyone have any recommendations? The cheaper the better.

Related question: There's a superstition in our office that laser printers are
preferred to inkjets when printing checks (for security reasons). Anyone else
share this concern? I'm having doubts that it makes much of a difference...
