Stores Codes
We currently have over 100 different stores codes and
many that are inactive. We need to keep the inventory transaction history for
all of the stores codes so we cannot delete or reuse the same stores code. We
could utilize the "lockout" feature but when doing a month end close
we do a mass change to lockout everyone so that no transactions can take place.
Then once the month is closed we do another mass change to unlock all of the
stores codes.
We are wondering how other companies handle Inactive Stores Codes. We are open
to any suggestions.
Thank you,
