Description
This is the mailing list of the India [GNU] Linux Users Group - Goa. ILUG-Goa is a group of GNU/Linux enthusiasts based in Goa (but open to anyone interested in this field, wherever you might be based...). You're welcome to join in this network, to share experience, ideas and concepts (like freedom). Signing up is free!
We welcome interested individuals to spread the movement by forming more user-groups in their localities, colleges, workplaces. We are open to having other mini-GLUGs/LUGs or user groups meeting up in different parts of the state. There are also other LUGs active in Goa at Goa Engineering College, Farmaguddi (contact Prof Sandesh Patil) and St Xavier's College, Mapusa (contact Nelson Lobo).
The group normally meets on the fourth Saturday of each month -- if postponed or rescheduled, we post to the list to inform members -- at the Goa Science Centre in Miramar, a beach on the outskirts of Panjim, state capital of Goa. The meeting is usually from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.
