me too forgot something. arvinds lethargy is rubbing off on me.
When i do the uncommenting on prepend, i noticed this things
1) to all who try it out, please repalce 127.0.0.1 with your proper DNS
providor if you are NOT using BIND as ur dns
2) since i wanted to add all 4 dns entries of opendns and bsnl in my
resolv.conf, i added 3 more lines to make it look like the following
prepend domain-name-servers 208.67.222.222;
prepend domain-name-servers 208.67.220.220;
prepend domain-name-servers 218.248.240.208;
prepend domain-name-servers 218.248.240.135;
imagine my surprise when on on checking the configuration, i found that
the system places the dns of resolv.conf from the bottom up and ONLY
takes 3 dns entries :-(
