i'm with you, but on a slightly diff wavelength.
1) i didint find THAT much extra things that wasnt already there in
synaptic package manager.
2) after installing it now when i try to update my system automatically.
it tells me that only a partial upgrade can be done as some applications
cannot be upgraded, and it doesnt allow me to even select these items in
the package list of upgrades...

quite irritating.. it says mplayer is out of date and all that.. wonder
what the hell it dd. havnt had tie to poke around as yet but i'm
guessing it has added some reposiarys on my system and i ahvnt yet
removed them.. i thought that removing ultamatix would ahve restored the
system, but even after i removed it. the problem persists
