INEF-International Network on Ethnoforestry is a peer group of concerned foresters, scientists, international agencies, and NGOs working for documentation, dissemination and integration of indigenous knowledge on forest management with formal forestry, in various cultures and indigenous peoples across the globe. Currently, INEF has 325 members representing 77 countries (Some emails are not listed here). Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal, India is the nodal place for INEF. Individuals and organisations are welcome to come together and pool the knowledge on this issue. The context-specific knowledge can help us address various questions on forest management and it can help the society to overcome the crisis of habitat destruction and over-exploitation.
