I just got an email from one of my kids, and its substance was a high
school graduation speech. She wasn't the valedictorian, but she
decided to write the speech anyway (heavy, times being what they are,
on the Douglas Coupland).

So, if you feel like it, why not write a graduation speech!? For
myself, I can't decide whether to do it as a valedictory, as if I
myself were graduating, or as a commencement speech I'd give if I were
invited (speaking of as if).

anyway, let's see what ya got.
