Re: Update-Engine

Matt,

Please forgive my ignorance, I know almost nothing about
mechanics. I read your previous post and think it sounds like a
great idea, and don't worry about being young, I know of at least one
12 year old that runs a factory that makes a type of mop he
invented. You can do it!

Could you explain maybe what it is your engine will do. It sounds
like a car engine. And that there will be a light receptor on the
piston. That something will convert the light into heat??? and that
will drive the piston up? or down? or both, and the piston will
drive the engine. I'll admit I'm not even sure how a regular car
engine works let alone a "Light Powered" car.

Anyway, best of luck,

Wes

Im will be making my first working model. I have unfortunatly
discoervered someone invented a simular one in 1979-1982, but I'm
not sure how close they resemble to mine.

> As for the comment, "I welcome all, bad or good" Yes, I have
considered my idea being stolen and only being 15 years old I don't
think I would last long in court. I wouldn't even mention my engine
for 2 years. This is the first. I will be patenting it before I give
out anything

Matthew Wagner I find this idea quite interesting. However I am puzzled as to the source of power you are using to generate the "termendous amount of infared...

Matthew, I think you may be underestemating the power needed to generate the extremely high speed/energy photons that will be necessary to generate an infared...
