Hi everyone,
I'd like to announce the first annual Io game programming contest.
Entries can be any sort of game you like but they need to be:
- written entirely in Io
- released under a BSD or MIT license
- emailed to
steve@... by 11:59pm February 11th (Io's
anniversary)
Entries will only be judged by how fun they are to play (not on their
implementation or polish). Multiple entries per person or group are ok.
Thanks to the generous contributions of several people, first (and
currently only) prize will be a new iPod Shuffle.
Between the OpenGL, GLUT and Socket bindings, Io should have everything
needed for a good single player or networked game. Also, if you run
into any Io bugs or Io related programming questions, I'm happy to help
with them.
Cheers and good luck!
