Wow... I got back from a weekend away to find podcasting mentioned in
both Dave's and Adam's show. I conjered up the term while writing a post
to this list last week. Then after a good night's sleep it struck me to
check to see if any of the domain names were available....some were and
so...

Anyway... I havn't had time to whip any fancy web pages for the domains
just yet, but I'm working on some things.

As Dave Slusher saw in his logs, podcaster is my ipodder script I wrote
in perl that runs on both pc and mac. I had previously named it IPisODe
but as Dave noted, podcaster(ing) it a bit sexier, so I renamed it after
getting the domains. I havn't had time to clean up the code just yet and
its been in fairly constant flux the past week (as have the other ipodder
clients) so I don't plan on posting the code at this point. I'm mainly
using it for a devlopment platform to hash out some ideas for both the
client and server side of things. I'll post some more info as things
develop. Perhaps I'll whip up some audio posts just to officially become
a podcaster as well ;)
