I am writing image management software that displays and maintains
images and image metadata in a searchable SQL database. The program
captures metadata from jpg files, using a class library ostensibly
written for decoding EXIF-formatted metadata. The software is being
developed and tested with images taken by the Leica digital module.

I want to be sure that my system will comply with the important
international standards. Please advise if there are any known issues
of compatibility of EXIF with XMP standards.
