Poss SN in ESO235-35 (PGC65919)   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #295 of 307 |
All,

Last night (2009/06/13.67 UT), imaged a possible SN in ESO235-35 (PGC65919). SN
appears to be located 1.4" west and 3.4" south of the host galaxy nucleus (Host
RA: 21h01m29.60s DE:-52d00'54.4"). Too close to nucleus to permit good
photometry but unfiltered CCD mag is approx 15.
Checked for minor planets - negative.

Image is in the Files section.

I was hoping to confirm tonight, but despite forecasts, the clouds have rolled
in, so would appreciate any obs.

Regards,
TG
