"Hands on" Technical Project Manager

Agile Outsourced Solutions is a small New York based software
development and 24/7 network operations company, currently seeking to
establish a development office in Israel.

We are currently looking for Technical Project Manager with proven
track records of managing / building scalable, reliable applications
in addition the PM is the first point of contact for a client on all
technical operational issues and is therefore responsible for managing
client expectations and problem resolution in line with the available
resources and the company's Corporate Objectives. We are seeking a
permanent employee or contractor (start date early March 2006).

Responsibilities
• Contribute to technical / architectural designs for web-based
applications written in Java or C#.
• Support existing applications in production.
• Develop, document, and enforce coding standards for the development
team.
• Clearly document technical specifications and infrastructure
requirements for customers.
• Communicate project/issue status in a reliable and accurate manner
through appropriate tools and processes.
• Review, adapt, create, and document development support systems.
• Work with QA team to develop detailed acceptance criteria and test
plans, which will provide guidance and metrics for development process.
• Provide strategic technology guidance to customers through
collaborative problem solving.
• Implement process improvements utilizing agile methodologies.
• Manage, mentor and review development teams.

Requirements
• Strong Java/C++ development skills. (must have had some a developer
at some point)
• Expert knowledge and demonstrated abilities in modern enterprise
architecture design, development, and deployment: XML web services on
application servers, databases and associated access protocols.
• Expert compiled and/or interpreted OOP skills (Java, C++).
• Expert web development skills a plus: HTML, Javascript, DHTML, and XML.
• Good SQL development skills a plus.
• Experience in managing and mentoring a team of developers.
• Strong team collaboration skills; ability to work well with internal
and external teams, including customers and vendors.
• Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong customer service skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
• Forward thinking, able to work with minimal direction and exercise
judgment when solving problems.
• Understanding and experience in different agile methodologies (Agile
MSF, RAD, XP, Scrum, etc)

Education and Experience

Senior Linux and Network Administrator 24/7 Production Environment

Agile Outsourced Solutions is a small New York based software
development and 24/7 network operations company, currently seeking to
establish a development office in Israel.

Primary responsibilities include participating in the day-to-day
operations of a 24x7 Datacenter environment and monitoring the
production environments (including servers, network equipment,
databases and proprietary software applications) to ensure timely
trouble identification and optimum performance. Monitoring the
integrity of the datacenter and all other systems integrated into the
datacenter as well as providing support for all relevant business
functions across the enterprise would also be required.

We are seeking a permanent employee or contractor (start date early
March 2006).

Responsibilities:

• Proactive and reactive monitoring, troubleshooting, coordination and
restoration of service affecting or potentially service affecting
events or issues.

• Ensure that up-to-date monitoring is being performed on all
mission-critical applications and systems as well as providing other
support duties as required during the shift.

• Validate problem descriptions and perform detailed problem
diagnosis; track and update problems in trouble ticketing system.


Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with complex Linux and Solaris
implementations in high volume, 24x7 data center environments.

• Minimum of 3 years hands-on Cisco experience, including PIX
firewalls, Catalyst switches, LocalDirectors, Content Service
Switches, IOS routers.

• BA in Computer Science or related field with 3-5 years relevant
"hands on" 7x24 data center experience.

• Strong working knowledge of Server Operating Systems (Linux and
Solaris).

• Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP, DNS,
SSL, HTTP, LDAP, and other internetworking technologies.

• Some knowledge of SQL (MYSQL, Postgres) a plus.

• Linux, Solaris, Cisco CCIE and CISSP certifications a plus.

• Software QA experience a plus.

• Ability to function independently and prioritize and self-manage a
wide variety of concurrent projects.

Lead Flash Developer

Agile Outsourced Solutions is a small New York based software
development and 24/7 network operations company, currently seeking to
establish a development office in Israel.

We are currently looking for senior Flash developer, Candidates must
have at least 3 years of experience in FLASH, experience with Flash
XML, Flash Remoting, and Streaming Video. Advanced skills in
Actionscript 1.0 is required and Actionscript 2.0 experience is
preferred. Demonstrated ability to program complex and dynamic Flash
web sites are mandatory and candidates who have constructed their own
components or manipulated such components are strongly preferred.
Coding experience in the areas of Python, Java, xml parsing, drawing
API's and database connectivity are all extremely helpful.

Exceptional design skills are critical. Qualified candidates will have
strong skills and efficiency in graphic design, layout, usability,
interface and structure of web sites. Any secondary skills such as 3D
development, ASP, PHP, XML, copy writing a plus.

We are seeking a permanent employees or contractor (start date early
March 2006).
• Computer science degree or equivalent certification.
• Expert in Flash Application development methodologies (AS2 OOP
implementation & design patterns, component development, etc.)
• Expert in integrating Flash with database driven data

We are currently looking for senior server-side C++ software engineer
with proven track records of building scalable, reliable applications.
We are seeking a mix of permanent employees and contractors (start
date early March 2006).

Responsibilities:
• Building multi-threaded server systems using C++

• OO software analysis and design for reliable, high performance,
concurrent/multi-threaded server-side systems

• Developing business systems that must run 24/7 supporting a 10,000
concurrent user base in an ASP-based real-time environment

• Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technology issues

Requirements:

• 2~3 years software experience with object-oriented design
methodologies and full lifecycle software development

• Expert level knowledge of the C++ language and development environment

• Ability to write complex SQL queries required.

• Experience working with multi-threaded server-side applications,
including sockets, threads, and object pooling is a *must*

• Expert in another programming language a strong plus (Java, PERL,
Python)

• Can deploy and debug software in Linux/Solaris environment; some
familiarity with Unix shell scripting
