Hi people.
Yes, another chapter is being organized this month. :)

We like this chapter to be more then just the social gathering and
offer some lectures as well. Please feel free to offer any issue
you'd like to hear (or wish to talk about) in the next meeting.

The date is going to be 16th (wednesday) or 17th (thursday) depends
on the number of people that can reach either. We'll need your
feedback on this.

The Meeting will take place in the center (exact place isn't known
yet, hopefully at one of the companies involved) around 20:00. Of
course - it all depends on your feedback - so contact us and tell us
what hours fits you.

Some of the issues we _might_ be covering are Game development on the
Palm, design issues and trends in recent PC titles, noteworthy

For those of you who do not know what SIGGRAPH is, it's a
big event in the US, bringing together the Academic Computer
Graphics research and the big commercial industry in the field.
In the Israeli SIGGRAPH there are lectures of graduate and phd
students from Universities that relates to computer graphics,
geometric modeling, computer vision, virtual reality and more.
It is an academic event so lectures WILL be technical and WILL
require some amount of math to understand. Still, you are all
welcome. Getting ideas on how to do things is what this event all
about.

I haven't got any comments yet about the time and date of the meeting.
The current date is Thursday, November 8th, at 18:00 (6:00pm) -
That's 9 days from now.

The chapter will be held in the Tel-Aviv Area though no exact place
was set yet (any suggestions are welcome). We'll announce final place
by the end of this week at most.

The first meeting will consist a brief introduction to IGDA, current
state of game development in Israel, people will introduce themselves
and the companies/projects they're currently working for/on, we'll
discuss various issues including development, production and
publishing and will make notes as for what type of
lectures/presentations people would like to hear in next meetings (if
any).

Please approve your coming by replying to this email
