Hello Members,
I just developed a little plug-in for Shabdik and with the
help of this plug-in you can type Unicode Bangla in 100% Bijoy way. For
this, you need to download Shabdik first. As the
plug-in is still in BETA stage, you have to contact with me off the
list so that I can send you the plug-in. After sufficient feedback, we
can release it online.
Benefits:
Many people wants to give their input in Unicode Bangla but the problem
was a new layout. Most of them has to learn the new typing method,
which seems hard for them. Finally a way came out and people can type
in Unicode without learning a new layout. Now people can give their
input to anywhere, like Bangla
Wikipedia. :)

Hello there
We hear, if providers embrace VoIP it cannot earn as much as it could
do from traditional telephony. However, it is time to realize that
voice and data networks are merging and it is the same providers who
are gaining the chances to serve both the voice and data world. Thus
as whole it can be predicted that VoIP revenue will supersede PSTN or
any other traditional provider's revenue.
For more please have a look at my blog in this link:

Dear All
I am a common Bangladeshi student doing my research work in The
University of Melbourne on VoIP. I along with my supervisors believe
we are doing some good work. Thus thought we should maintain a blog.
We just have started. Thus before going into more details on our
research work we want to write on some related issues of VoIP.
Now I am writing to you for your valuable comments into the blog and
also here in the forum. You can reach the forum by clicking here:

Dear All
I'm happy to inform you that Ekushey.Org has released the first Unicode
Bangla Solution for Apple Computer Inc.'s Mac OS X. Ekushey is working
to improve Bangla Computing for a long time with the promise of
"Independent Bangla Computing".
Ekushey is the only organization which is working to implement Bangla in
Unicode. Two fonts and two different keyboard layouts are included in
Ekushey's new package for Mac OS X. These fonts and keyboard layouts are
already available for Windows under Ekushey’s Font and Keyboard projects.
Ekushey's Mac OS X project is to convert Ekushey's existing fonts and
keyboard layouts for Mac OS X. Although seven keyboard layouts for
Windows and eleven fonts for Windows and Linux are available, Ekushey
has released only two keyboard layouts and two fonts for Mac users so far.
These solutions for Mac users are available from Ekushey's web site
under Open Source GPL license. Anybody can download and use the
solutions absolutely free from: http://www.ekushey.org/projects/osx/
Enjoy Bangla Computing in the Unicode Way!

Yahoo plans to roll out its new ad platform for internal use within a few weeks and make it more widely available to outside advertisers later this year or early next, said Yahoo Chief Information Officer Lars Rabbe on Monday.
Rabbe downplayed the impact that Google has had on his role at Yahoo. "I don't think it has changed it significantly," Rabbe said during a Q&A with InformationWeek Senior Executive Editor Chris Murphy at the InformationWeek 500 conference in Palm Springs, Calif. "Search is really the only business where we're really competing directly."
Indeed, with regard to properties like Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Maps, Yahoo Finance, and Yahoo News, Google's competing offerings aren't really competitive in terms of traffic, at least as measured by Internet metrics company Hitwise.
But despite the diversity of Yahoo's businesses, search remains of critical importance to the company--ads, after all, bring in more revenue than free e-mail. Yahoo has been working feverishly to counter the perception that Google's online ads deliver better results and to better monetize its audience in online activities other than search. "Project Panama," as the new ad platform is known, must succeed if Yahoo is to remain a search advertising leader.
"Project Panama," according to Rabbe, will deliver a much better experience for advertisers. He expects it will allow Yahoo and its advertisers to make more effective use of the vast amounts of data Yahoo gathers and maintains about its users and their browsing habits.
In an interview earlier this year, Yahoo's Chief Data Officer Usama Fayyad explained the value of collecting user
data. "Our users are telling us a lot about our properties and our products through their usage," he said. "So can we capture that information to improve product. Now the minute you improve product, that impacts monetization in a big way, because if you improve a product, you get more loyalty, you get more usage."
Yet as Rabbe observed, customers have to feel comfortable that their private information is protected. As might be expected of someone with a confessed appreciation of cyberpunk author Neal Stephenson's Cryptonomicon and Snow Crash, Rabbe is keenly aware of the security issues surrounding Yahoo's collection of user data. Growth, stability, and security, he said, remain his top concerns.
Rabbe spoke highly of the value of social search, as exemplified by Yahoo's Flickr photo sharing site and Yahoo Answers, even as he conceded in
response to an audience question, "There's absolutely a danger that more crap will bubble up from [user-generated content]."
That said, Rabbe stressed that he's a believer in the democratization of content creation that's happening online. Perhaps more so than search, that's Yahoo's business. As Rabbe put it, "We're in the business of providing content as well as providing the vehicle for people to provide content."
"Krugle is for Krugling
where Google is for Googling"
Suddenly i recalled about "Krugle"
while i was surfing through the Goolge. Last time i received an email
from Krugle about their beta release with a survay form. I liked this
Krugle searching engine. Here what the Krugle is for...
Krugle Search gives you to :
Find Code
Find Answers
Save and Share
See few of the Screen shots from Below.
-> Index page of the Krugle. -> Find Code
-> Find Answer
-> Save and Share
I
recommend every one to utilize the use of Krugle as they released their
version open to everyone where it was not open to all even few months
ago. Don't know the exact date when they really let it open for all.
But now everyone should get the chance to use it. It should help Krugle
team even to find more bugs and enrich the features purely. Several
open feedbacks could help a process to be more perfect :)
Lets use and ask our friends to use it. Enjoy Krugling :)

The International Breast Cancer Research Foundation (IBCRF) of Ohio

the rural women of Bangladesh.
"Initially the service for detecting breast cancer will be available
at the Shaplaful Mother & Child Health Care Centre -- an associate

extended to other areas of the country gradually," Reza Salim, project
director of Amader Gram, told The Daily Star.
The advice of US specialists will be available within eight hours in

suggestions for treatment.
Amader Gram and IBCRF has recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement in

research specialist of IBCRF, signed the agreement on behalf of their
organisations.
Initial screening will be done to those with the breast tumour or

these tests will be sent to the IBCRF through Internet.
A group of Bangladeshi cancer specialists will provide necessary

"The main objective of this project is to eradicate all sorts of

The project will bear all necessary cost of treatment for the poor.
Amader Gram Communi-cations has provided necessary technological
