Opportunity:
Mobile Device Software Applications Engineer: J2ME, Pkt PC, or Symbian

Job Description:
As a Device Software Design Engineer at Visto, you will contribute to the
overall design and architecture of our products. Responsible for developing
device clients for Visto's product line using C/C++/Java (J2ME) on Pocket
PC, or Symbian platforms. These clients support email and PIM Data sync
between the device and the enterprise.

Educational Requirements:
BSCS / MSCS or related technical degree

Skills and Required Experience:
The ideal candidate will have the following required skills and experience:
? Minimum 5-8 yrs overall software development experience
? Minimum 3 years (in industry) experience developing wireless applications
using J2ME, Pocket PC 2000/2002 or Symbian technologies.
? 2+ years proven development experience using C++/Java on wireless
platforms
? Proven ability to turn ideas and concepts into carefully designed and
well-authored code
? Demonstrated expertise of object-oriented design and implementation
? Stellar problem solving skills
? Strong Communication skills: verbal and written
? Solid understanding of performance analysis and software optimization
? Hands-on experience with:
- Internet technologies (HTML/XML, JSP, IMAP, Servlets)
- Wireless technologies (WAP, SyncML, IMAP, iMode, XML-RPC)
- Network technologies (HTTP, TCP/IP)
